What do you do if conflict arises during a Change Management process?
Understanding loss and grief (Kubler Ross change curve) and being able to support people during 'change' is the MOST important skill. Openly sharing safe spaces for people to share their concerns and thoughts is essential. And no, this isn't something an EAP can successfully manage. Companies tend to rush the process, leading to burnout, conflict and deep sadness. I know....we're in it right now.

Avoid judging someone before talking to them. Often, the people I expect to have a bland conversation with, turns into a fabulous one. Be open, be interested. Practice Compassionate Communication (Words Can Change Your Brain book). It changes exchanges for the better!
