NLP Practitioner & Coach Certification – What Previous Knowledge is Required?

The good news is that no prior learning knowledge or experience is essential to take this NLP Practitioner & Coaching Certification training course. This training is open to anyone wishing to gain a coaching and NLP qualification and would like to take part in a highly rewarding carer. Once you are registered you will be given access to the online pre-study material, you will be able to log in and review, reflect, and get ready for the live training. We will also send you the full Practitioner Training Manual in the post.

In addition to the scheduled NLP Practitioner & Coach Certification training sessions, we will be holding regular evening tutor support sessions which are a fantastic opportunity to ask additional questions, practice what you have been learning, and generally develop your knowledge and confidence levels.

NLP Practitioner & Coach Certification Training Schedule*

Pre-Study Material – All registered students will be given a login to our Online Learning Platform to begin their NLP and Coach training journey. This pre-recorded learning resource will give you a great overview of the course, and give you a solid foundation in key terms and the history of both NLP and the Coaching industry.   Additionally, each LIVE training day session will be recorded and you will be given access to review again and again.

Meet & Greet  – 7.00 pm. This will be a pre-course virtual get-together so we can introduce ourselves and get familiar with the Zoom environment, ask questions, and generally get ready for the first training day.  This will be an evening event, that we will host about a week or so before the scheduled start date of the course.  We will invite all registered students to join.

Day One: – Welcome and programme introduction and overview, Rapport, Sensory Acuity, Calibration, Submodalities, The Power of Well-Formed Outcomes, and how they relate to the coaching process.

Day Two: Eye-Accessing Cues, Exploring Representational Systems, Predicates Preferences, Anchors, Outcomes Part Two.   

Day Three: – NLP Presuppositions, Perceptual Positions, Anchors & Circle of Excellence. Outcomes Part Three, New Behaviour Generator.

Day Four: –  The Structure of Coaching, Session Contracting, Exploring Core Coaching Competencies, WHAT, the GROW Model and the OSKAR model.

Day Five: –  How to Successfully Deliver Coaching & NLP Services Online, The Role of Supervision in Coaching and NLP Practice, Coaching For Success. Safeguarding, Ethics and Professional Practice. 

Day Six: –  Exploring Advanced Coaching Models, OSCAR, The APROCESS Coaching Model. How not to coach etc. 

Day Seven: –  The Meta Model, Part One – Understanding a Clients Language. The Meta Model is based on the original research by the founders of NLP when they modelled Virginia Satir – clinical social worker and psychotherapist, uniquely successful in her approach to family therapy work. The Meta Model helps us to recover the lost information that occurs between Deep Structure and Surface Structure via distortions, generalizations, and deletions in the speaker’s language (Chomsky – Transformational and Generative Grammar) helping to expand the limits to a person’s model of the world.

Day Eight: – The Meta Model, Part Two 

Day Nine: – ilton Model, the language of influence. Based on the original research of the founders of NLP when they modelled Milton Ericson, the famous psychiatrist and psychologist specializing in medical hypnosis and family therapy.

Day Ten: – NLP Change Processes.  Part One – the NLP Tool kit of enabling powerful change in clients’ personal and professional lives. Swish, Collapse Anchors, plus more.

Day Eleven:  –  NLP Change Processes.  Part Two – the NLP Tool kit of enabling powerful change in clients’ personal and professional lives. Visual Squash, Dealing with Difficult People, 6-Step Reframe.

Day Twelve: –  Exploring Client Beliefs. Looking at NLP Belief Changes processes that will enable you to work with clients to identify limiting beliefs and to build powerful more useful and enabling belief systems.

Day Thirteen:  Modelling Strategies – NLP is all about modelling – figuring out what the structure of experience and performance is. When we understand how we are doing something, it’s easy to make appropriate changes.

Day Fourteen: Working with Anxious Clients – A large proportion of clients who contact a life coach or NLP Practitioner want to overcome the symptoms of anxiety. During this session, we explore the structure of anxiety and then look at various NLP and coaching interventions in order to better understand how to work effectively with anxious clients.

Day Fifteen: – Logical Levels & The Generative Coaching Cycle – A Framework For Personal & Professional Change & Development

Day Sixteen: –  First Aid Mental Health For Coaches & NLP Practitioners (Level 2 Award in First Aid For Mental Health)* 

Day Seventeen: – Integration Part One. Practical NLP Practitioner skills assessment 

Day Eighteen: – Integration Part Two – Practical Coaching skills assessment, Developing your Coaching & NLP Practice, Professional Memberships, CPD etc.

What Assignments are required?

We have worked with the accrediting bodies to produce both practical and knowledge assessments that are real-world based, completing those will not only enable you to successfully complete your qualification, more importantly, but they will also give you the confidence to build your practice based on the evidence of your assessment success.  Each qualification has its own assessment requirements:
