About

From the earliest days of my professional career I have been entrusted with strategic projects and challenges by the organisations that hired me:

• Networking a computerised HR system across 23 UK sites
• Seasonal recruitment of 200 people for a distribution depot (project was months behind schedule and our local recruitment pool was inexperienced and unskilled)
• Trouble shooting resourcing and people issues associated with annualised contracts at a new distribution depot
• Mobilising a venture capital start up in the technology sector – aligning policy with the parent co. whilst at the same time seeking to attract the best talent
• Organisation design for a new European finance shared service centre taking on the financial transaction processing for 23 countries
• The list goes on

None of these things I had ever done before. At the time I didn’t stop to think why I had been hired, I just got on with it.

Over time I have come to realise that I have been able to take these projects on and turn them around not because of my education, training or skills per se but most likely because of my innate strengths of calm data gathering, analysis and reflection, planning and organisation and my core values of harmony, openness, trust, respect, freedom and learning.

Things have definitely not always gone perfectly and projects have been delivered not without a large helping of imposter syndrome at times but as time has passed I have grown my inner and outer resources, toolkit and team to help me lways be and do my best for my clients.

I’m not ashamed to admit that I have sometimes had to learn the hard way and I have needed huge reserves of resilience to keep moving forward towards a project goal, but I firmly believe there’s no problem that can’t be solved, and no mistake that we can’t learn or move on from.

Using my unique and intuitive blend of coaching and mentoring it’s now my passion and privilege to help YOU 1:1 as a leader deliver on YOUR BIG VISION for yourself both at work and at home. I stand shoulder to shoulder with you as you take your next bold step forward, whether that is a new organisation, a new role or maybe even your own business or not-for-profit organisation.
