Hayley Stanton

Director & Coach at Quiet Connections CIC

Hi, I’m Hayley.

I’m the founding Director of Quiet Connections CIC; a social enterprise that helps people who consider themselves quiet, sensitive or shy to make meaningful connections and find greater fulfilment in life so they can flourish as their true selves. I’m an NLP Practitioner and Certified mBIT and Blue Health Coach, with an ILM Level 3 Award in Coaching. I have Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training and a Degree in Health, currently studying MSc Positive Psychology and Coaching Psychology.

As a highly sensitive introvert, I love and appreciate my quiet strengths, but I spent much of my life not feeling good enough and experiencing social anxiety. I missed so many opportunities because I was afraid of being judged harshly, criticised and rejected – and because I doubted that I had the ‘right’ personality to succeed. Quiet Connections exists in part because I had a fantastic coach who helped me to work through old patterns of keeping myself small and hidden so that I could show up and be seen to play my part in creating the more connected, curious and compassionate world that I dream of.

Now, I’m passionate about helping people discover their unique qualities, gifts, passions and experiences and explore how best to use these to express themselves more authentically and contribute to the world in a way that works with their true nature – and I’d love to help you uncover what this looks like for you and how you can create this in your life now.

I have delivered workshops and coaching for a variety of organisations in the South West, including Cornwall College, University of Exeter, Next Steps South West, Pluss, The CHAOS Group, Cornwall Development Company, Cornwall Neighbourhoods for Change, Pentreath, Cornwall Rural Community Charity, Access Training, WILD Young Mums and Cornwall Refuge Trust. I have also spoken at a number of events including Cornwall Business Fair with Cornwall School for Social Entrepreneurs; the Faith & Mental Health Day organised by Transformation Cornwall and the Diocese of Truro; and the Towards Zero Suicide Conference at the invitation of the Towards Zero Suicide Alliance Cornwall.
