Ian Llewellyn-Nash

Ian Llewellyn-Nash is the NLP Specialist Envoy for Professional Standards.

As a Trainer/Master Practitioner of NLP and an Emotional Intelligence Coach, Ian helps individuals become more resourceful versions of themselves.

Ian’s background is rooted in registered nursing practice and academic teaching in leadership, education and nursing. Ian works within occupations which are open to professional regulation and scrutiny. He knows that there is a growing need for NLP and NLP Practitioners to offer their craft and art in ways that are both meaningful yet open to scrutiny. Ian provides the service of supporting ANLP members in helping them to reflect and review their NLP practice. This is both a safeguard for the practitioner and the public at large.

Within Nursing, Teaching and NLP practice Ian has been involved in quality review and complaints adjudication. The road towards professionalism in any field is mapped, not only against ‘know-how’ but also ‘ know-what’. There is a balance between knowing what we do and knowing why we do it. Within an increasingly social and open society, this is bridged by knowing how to best represent and communicate that to the client/client groups we work with.

As Envoy for Professional Standards, Ian’s brief is to encourage dialogue around the professional delivery of personal practice-based service. Delivering best practice will help to build better service, better reputation and enhance the reputation of NLP.
