Lisa Newman, MSW, ACSW lives and works in Los Angeles, California
Lisa has worked with families for over 30 years in child welfare, domestic adoption, non-profits, community colleges, private counseling, K-12 schools, universities and as a life coach utilizing NLP and social work methodologies.
She is the creator of the Linguistic Interchange Process (LIP) (™) which she discovered, designed and crafted while seeking to overcome the debilitating symptoms of chronic lyme disease.
Lisa has been a Master Practitioner in NeuroLinguistics since 1995 through Adept International in Long Beach California and re-certified with NLP California in 2015.
Currently, she divides her time as the resident Social Work Internship Supervisor incorporating NLP approaches with social work methodologies and as a full time University Adjunct in the Department of Social Work at Cal State University, Los Angeles teaching Human Behavior, Child Welfare, Interviewing, Communication, Social Welfare Policy, Cultural Competency and Counseling Classes.
