Back to blog posts March 19th 2025 Personal Reflections Share Tweet LinkedIn Pin School half-term holidays in the UK brought a smaller group to the ANLP Community Café for February… One newbie and another almost newbie to the café asked some great questions and talked about their aspirations. A key theme for the discussion was the “calling” that they had and the routes they are considering to achieve their goals… We talked about many things and each topic had it’s roots in the resources that ANLP provides for Members on the website, on our Social Media platforms (including our YouTube channel). We’ve done our very best to think through the process and challenges that a Member may face when working on their NLP-led business… from starting a new Coaching business to rethinking an existing business. During my NLP trainings, I was gently reminded that the word “curiosity” is an important one and that it has so many applications… We encourage Members to complete their profile to give them the best “shop-window” for their services… there’s a “how to” video for that (as well as many others!), we encourage Members to spend time looking through all the resources on the website… Case Studies, Testimonials for self and others, research papers, Rapport magazine articles, pages to guide clients to for their own research and to support the work that our Members deliver every day… The two “newbies” had some fun… finding out about our social media campaign on Fears and Phobias (that directly supported the work one of them is doing with a dental practice!), finding out about the NLP Festival in Nottingham (check out the website for the details… we think it’s going to be brilliant for anyone who attends… transformational? Quite possibly!... it’s called “NLP Ignite: A One Day Journey to Passion, Purpose and Profit”). And, we already know that NLP is a transformational set of tools and strategies… so, why does “curiosity” sometimes get lost or dimmed? Time, priorities, other pressures… so many reasons and yet we sometimes expect our goals, aspirations and dreams to “just happen”… We hope you can ignite your curiosity and dig a little deeper on the ANLP website to find the gems of support that our Community Café participants found.
