Acuity is ANLP’s journal of in-depth articles exploring the development, application and evolution of Neuro Linguistic Programming.
Acuity – exploring the deeper thinking behind NLP practice.
Designed to sit between Rapport Magazine and the Current Research in NLP Journal, Acuity provides a space for longer-form articles that explore new models, emerging ideas, practical innovations and reflective thinking within the field.
Where Rapport captures practitioner insight and Current Research in NLP focuses on academic research, Acuity offers a forum for deeper exploration of ideas that advance the practice of NLP.
Across its published issues, Acuity has brought together contributions from respected practitioners, trainers and thinkers from across the international NLP community.
The journal was peer reviewed by a panel including:
Edited by Joe Cheal, Acuity was created to encourage thoughtful exploration of the developing dimensions of NLP practice.
Articles published in Acuity explore areas such as:
• new NLP models and techniques • refinements to existing approaches • innovative applications of NLP • reflections on practice and methodology • emerging perspectives within the field
Together these articles provide insight into how NLP continues to evolve through the work of practitioners around the world.
James Lawley (co-author of Metaphors in Mind: Transformation through Symbolic Modelling) welcomed the launch of the journal:
“It is with a great sense of ‘at last!’ that I welcome the publication of Acuity. For a good while now there has been a piece missing in the jigsaw that is NLP. Acuity fills the gap, and it does so in many ways. It motivates authors from around the world to write illuminating in-depth articles. It brings together a range of diverse topics thereby giving the reader an opportunity to make unexpected associations. And by publishing high quality reviewed papers it serves to raise the game of the whole field.”
