For years, NLP training followed a familiar path: once you’d gone beyond Master Practitioner, the assumption was that the only meaningful next step was to become a certifying trainer. Later, coach certifications were added, and the underlying idea stayed the same — that advancing in NLP meant teaching NLP.

And what if you’re passionate about NLP and have zero interest in running certifications or becoming a coach? What if you want to use NLP, not teach NLP?

The truth is, there’s an entire world beyond the traditional routes.

NLP is a meta‑discipline, created to enhance or transform any human endeavour. I chose to make that my guiding principle. Over the years, I’ve built a range of businesses and creative projects across completely different niches — each one shaped by modelling, experimentation, and NLP patterning. Most recently, that’s included leading photography workshops and building a thriving stargazing tour business that now serves thousands of guests every year.

My approach is simple: follow what fascinates me, build something around it, and use NLP to learn, adapt, and grow as I go.

This workshop is about helping you do the same. So the real question becomes: what could you create, transform, or bring to life with NLP?

To explore alternative pathways to build a career in NLP, other than training or coaching.

Who is this workshop for?

This workshop is open for all to attend and to get the best from the workshop, participants should have trained to at least Practitioner level. It's designed for anyone with a passion for NLP and the curiosity to explore new areas of application and modelling.

What you will leave with?

A greater appreciation of the scope of NLP patterning and methodology, and how we, as practitioners of NLP, are in a unique position to add value to other disciplines and to create innovative products and services.

• Willingness to engage in live roleplay or breakout discussions.

Time & Format

This is a 90-minute virtual workshop including live teaching with interactive discussion.

Your Trainer 

Gary Lintern is a Master Trainer of NLP, and a Certified Trainer of New Code NLP. He is an experienced modeller and serial entrepreneur, and is passionate about promoting NLP as a tool for research and development.
