Core Training Standards for All Membership Levels
Membership Level Requirements
To be eligible for ANLP membership, your NLP training must meet the following minimum standards:
Training must be live (synchronous) with interactive components (in-person or live online) and include opportunities for feedback and assessment. Check the virtual training criteria for more details regarding online training. When this training is virtual, it must meet the ANLP virtual training criteria
Video-only or self-paced learning without live interaction or assessment is not accepted.
There must be clear evidence of assessment of skills and knowledge during the course.
Your certificate must be issued by a recognised NLP Trainer or training organisation with a verifiable lineage and track record. ANLP will request additional information to confirm trainer credentials.
For individuals who have completed some NLP training but are not currently practicing professionally or who are required by their employer to be a member of the NLP Professional Body. Requirements:

Only available to Trainers who have completed the ANLP Accreditation Programme. Requirements:
Trainer reference – to be provided by the trainer the applicant has completed an NLP Course with and should include confirmation of course completion, one or two sentences that act as a character reference and that they are happy to recommend the applicant for ANLP Membership.
Supervisor Reference – confirm that the person applying for ANLP membership regularly undertakes supervision for their NLP based work and they are being accountable and taking responsibility for NLP services they are providing.

ANLP welcomes international applicants. Certificates issued outside the UK must meet equivalent standards to those outlined above.
If you hold additional qualifications in specialist modalities (e.g., Coach, Supervisor, Master Trainer, Linear Time Techniques, Hypnotherapy, mBIT, RTM Protocols, Psychotherapy), you may apply for a Verified Certification Upgrade.
These upgrades are optional and available to members who meet the core requirements for their membership level.

If you're not sure whether your training meets these requirements, you can apply to have your certificates validated before you join by paying the admin fee in advance. If your certificates are acceptable for membership, you will be given a code to waive the admin fee usually paid when joining ANLP.
