We’ve designed our membership packages to support you at every stage of your NLP development — whether you're just starting out, actively practicing, or delivering training at the highest level.

Before applying, please ensure your training meets our Core Requirements. ANLP checks all NLP certificates for validity.

Membership Categories

Associate Member

For individuals who have completed NLP training but are not currently practicing professionally.
Requirements: Completion of an NLP Diploma (minimum)
Ideal for: Employees or those using NLP for personal development.

Professional Member

For qualified NLP Practitioners, Master Practitioners, or equivalent, who are actively offering NLP services.
Requirements: Valid NLP Practitioner or Master Practitioner certificate from a recognised training provider.
Ideal for: Coaches, therapists, consultants, and other NLP professionals.

Trainer Member

For NLP Trainers who are delivering certified NLP training courses.
Requirements: Valid NLP Trainer certificate and evidence of delivering NLP training.
Ideal for: Those running Practitioner, Master Practitioner, or other NLP-based training programmes.

Accredited Trainer Member

For Trainers who have completed the ANLP Accreditation Programme and wish to demonstrate the highest standards of training excellence.
Requirements: Completion of ANLP’s peer-reviewed Accreditation Programme.
Ideal for: Trainers seeking independent recognition of their training standards.

Optional Enhancements

ANLP offers Verified Certification Upgrades to help members showcase additional qualifications in specialist modalities such as:

  • Coach
  • Supervisor
  • Master Trainer
  • Linear Time Techniques
  • Hypnotherapy
  • mBIT
  • RTM Protocols
  • Psychotherapy

Each upgrade includes:

  • A specialist icon on your public ANLP profile
  • Acknowledgement on your membership certificate
  • Inclusion in a searchable public database for that modality

More About Testimonials & References

Testimonials do not need to be especially obtained for ANLP, nor do they need to specifically mention NLP techniques or experiences. All we require are copies of existing:

  • Letters, cards, thank you notes or emails from satisfied and grateful clients
  • Feedback forms from workshops / training courses / corporate workshops
  • Quotes from supervisors, mentors or colleagues
  • Website testimonials

These testimonials are for our records only, so if there are any concerns about confidentiality, please cross out or delete names.

Sometimes, the nature of your work prevents you from collecting testimonials. If you do not have any testimonials, then a reference from your supervisor, mentor, colleague or trainer will be acceptable.

Trainer reference – to be provided by the trainer the applicant has completed an NLP Course with and should include confirmation of course completion, one or two sentences that act as a character reference and that they are happy to recommend the applicant for ANLP Membership.

Supervisor Reference – confirm that the person applying for ANLP membership regularly undertakes supervision for their NLP based work and they are being accountable and taking responsibility for NLP services they are providing.
