The philosophy behind the Daffodil Principle echoes a well-known insight often attributed to Aristotle:
“The whole is greater than the sum of its parts.”
Psychologist Kurt Koffka later offered an equally powerful refinement:
“The whole is something else than the sum of its parts.”
Both ideas capture the same truth.
