What questions do you ask your clients when they first contact you? Do you check where they found you? This can be a crucial question to make the most of your marketing resources…word-of-mouth-referral, local advertising, online presence… Some feedback that we get from Members is that they do not get clients through their ANLP profile. The question we ask is…How Do You Know? If someone searches the ANLP Members Directory on the website and finds your profile, there are a few things they are looking for… we have been highlighting this for the last few weeks on social media our newsletters and our other recent blogs…here it is again… A photo to show who you are A bit about you and what you do and how to contact you Your specialities Your links If these things are set up well on your profile, you stand a much better chance of attracting the clients you want. Then they might click on your website details (the globe symbol underneath your profile photo) or your social media and go and look at your services in more detail…then they might call you. If you ask how they got your information, they might say “I got it off your website” when in fact, they may well have got the initial information from the ANLP website – unless you are measuring source information in detail, how do you know? Your ANLP profile comes up on the first page of Google results when someone searches for YOUR name 99% of the time...in fact, if they key in [Your Name] NLP into Google, you will often appear in first place on the first page of returned search results… Why? Because we get 5,000 unique visitors to the website per month and around 20,000 page views…and we’re working to improve those stats even more for you… There are so many ways for a potential client to find you. Your ANLP profile is one of those ways and can be an even bigger influencer if your profile has been well set up to attract the crucial click on your website, social media link or telephone number… Coming Soon... You will soon be able to see, via your dashboard, various statistics, including how many times you have appeared in an ANLP search, how many times your profile has been viewed and how many click throughs you have had from your profile links. So we are starting to measure your stats so you don’t have to – what better way to see the impact of your ANLP membership. Of course, we can ‘lead the horse to water’...the rest is up to you! Keeping your ANLP profile up to date and relevant for your potential clients will be one of the best ways to attract your potential clients.
