Membership Payment Security

Online Payments

Our online payment portal allows you to pay seamlessly via debit or credit card, Paypal or set up a Direct Debit.

Using the online payment portal ensures the best available security due to end to end encryption, which means that paying your membership fee online is THE most secure method for renewing...as well as being the most efficient because your membership status refreshes automatically and there is less margin for human error!

if you have set your membership fees to renew automatically, you will be notified 7 days before your subscription is due.

If you have chosen to renew each year, you will get both online and postal reminders, just as you have in the past. However, now you will be able to quickly and easily pay by following the link in the remnider email - you don't even have to log in to your dashboard!

Phone Renewals

Paying for your membership over the phone is much less secure, so due to both security and GDPR reasons, we can no longer accept payments over the phone.

Of course, if part of your intention for renewing over the phone is to talk with us, then you can still call us to let us know you have renewed online - we enjoy talking with you, we just want to ensure your payments are as secure as they possibly can be!

Renew by Post

We will still accept cheque payments, which you can send on receipt of your postal renewal reminder to our address (at the bottom of this page).

Like many other membership organisations, paying by BACS in not an option, simply because managing a large number of individual transactions coming into our bank account randomly is unmanageable for us and would result in delays to your membership being updated.
