ANLP wins Best UK Community Interest Company 2020

We are delighted to announce we have been awarded the UK Enterprise Award for Best UK Community Interest Company 2020. (and if you are wondering what is a Community Interest Company, click here)

When we say “We”, that means you too!  You are an important part of ANLP and play a crucial role for us in supporting our work.

Following on from the Hertfordshire Business Awards in 2009 (Business Woman of the Year and Small Business of the Year), this award proves the longevity of quality standards, inclusivity and commitment to NLP that ANLP maintains… and is external validation of our efforts.

SME News, who run the UK Enterprise Awards, say “The 2020 UK Enterprise Awards are based on merit, not the number of votes received. Their process works to ensure that they reward parties based on their excellence in the industry, the quality of their products and their dedication to customer service.

To be a winner, there must be evidence of extensive expertise and skills, dedication to customer service and client satisfaction with an on-going commitment to excellence and innovation demonstrated by the nominated business.”

The SME News dedicated research team gathered information independently from a variety of publicly accessible sources.

The research team cast their final judgment, based on various criteria including client dedication, innovation, business growth, longevity, online reputation, customer feedback and business performance.

ANLP CEO, Karen Falconer said

The 2020 SME News Award means a great deal to the team at ANLP.  “Stepping up to the plate” may be a cliché and still, the team and all our Members have done exactly that…and continue to step up and show up…

2020 has been a year of serial challenges for the whole world and the vast majority of the global population has been affected by COVID-19 in some way, whether directly or indirectly. “Normality” takes on a different meaning every day!  ANLP and our Members have risen to the challenge offering support to those who need it most in the form of a multitude of free resources spanning key worker support, community café discussions to the best use of technology to deliver NLP Training.

ANLP have also shown great flexibility and adaptability over the years since 2005 and continues to strive to be an ethical and responsible Membership organisation, raising the professional standards for the delivery of NLP services by Members who care about what they do and how they do it.

The award is an external validation of these enormous exertions…an endorsement of our ethos and our mission to raise the profile of NLP and ANLP and inform the public that ANLP is the home of “EPIC” NLP...and now our members benefit too, by being members of such a highly rated organisation.

When they heard of this great achievement Robert Dilts and Ian McDermott said

Our congratulations to ANLP for winning the UK Enterprise Award for Best UK Community Interest Company for 2020. CICs are non-profit organizations whose mission is to serve the community. To us, what ANLP provides is a powerful demonstration of the importance of this mission. The award was given by SME News, a publication which serves small to medium sized enterprises. We were particularly struck by the criteria used to determine the winner: “client dedication, innovation, business growth, longevity, online reputation, customer feedback and business performance.” Excellence in all of these certainly fits our perception of ANLP. Thank you and well done Karen, Kash and the ANLP team!
