Current Research in NLP Journal

The Current Research in NLP Journal was created to support a more research-minded approach to NLP by bringing together academic and practitioner research.

Documenting the emerging research around NLP practice.

The Current Research in NLP Journal was created to support a more research-minded approach to Neuro Linguistic Programming by bringing together academic and practitioner research exploring NLP in real-world contexts.

Published by ANLP between 2009 and 2013, the journal contains peer-reviewed papers originally presented at a series of international NLP research conferences held at UK universities.

The papers illustrate the diversity of NLP applications across areas including:

  • education
  • health and wellbeing
  • business and organisational development
  • psychotherapy and coaching
  • research methodology and conceptual discussion

Together the three volumes provide an important record of early efforts to explore NLP through academic and practitioner research.

Research Conference Proceedings

The published volumes include proceedings from the following conferences:

Volume 1 (2009)
Papers presented at the first NLP Research Conference held at University of Surrey.

Volume 2 (2010)
Proceedings from the Second International NLP Research Conference held at Cardiff University.

Volume 3 (2013)
Papers presented at the NLP Research Conference at the University of Hertfordshire.

These papers explore both conceptual and empirical perspectives on NLP and reflect the growing interest in developing a stronger research base for the field.
