Practitioner of NLP, Timeline Coaching, and Counselling Skills (APC/SpeakUp). Ikigai Coach with Distinction. Member of the Institute of Leadership. ANLP Professional Member. Published author. Over five years contributing to language model development. Currently delivering coaching through Civil Service programmes. Based in Argyll, working in person, online, and on the move.
People at thresholds. Professionals who feel stuck, burned out, or caught in a loop they can't name. Individuals navigating career transitions, identity shifts, or creative restlessness. People ready to overcome a specific fear, phobia, habit or block. Sessions draw on NLP and Timeline Coaching woven into the broader coaching work — not as a separate track, but as part of how we clear the way forward together.
Career and identity transitions. Burnout and creative restlessness. Clarity for people who know something needs to change but can't yet name what. The language clients use about themselves — the quiet limiting shifts that sit beneath an underlying frame. Holding space for the conversation between gut, heart and head when one is leading and the other two haven't caught up.
The work is downstream of love and loss. Coaching is not a technique applied to a problem — it is a conversation that respects what brought the person to the door. I work with the whole person: language, body, and the systems they are embedded in. My practice draws on coaching psychology, NLP, and Celtic wisdom and pilgrimage — three disciplines woven together rather than offered separately. Gaelic-grounded, Argyll-based, AI-fluent. I use emerging tools to deepen the human conversation, not replace it.
Clarity about what's actually in your way. A quieter, more accurate way of speaking to yourself about your situation. Movement on something that has felt stuck or stalled — sometimes for years. Practical tools rooted in NLP. A coaching relationship that meets you in your gut, heart and head — not just the part of you that turns up to talk.
One-to-one coaching, online or — for clients in Argyll — in person or on the move. Sessions typically last 60–90 minutes. A free first conversation is the starting point — no obligation, no hard sell. From there, a structured programme or individual sessions depending on what you need. Booking via Calendly at colmcillecoaching.co.scot.
Read what I write — on the Colmcille Coaching website and blog. Read my books that form part of the Callum Jackson Adventure Series. The voice you find there is the voice you will meet in the room or watch the reading of Hard Work. If you find yourself nodding, that's a signal worth listening to. If the style doesn't land, that's a useful conversation too.
Good fit: people who want a coaching conversation that treats them as a whole person and is willing to move past the surface. People at thresholds — career transitions, creative restlessness, the quiet ache of change. People who respond well to NLP approaches. People looking for facilitated team sessions or large-scale training are better served elsewhere. This is one coach, one client, one conversation at a time.
