Laura’s passion to help others learn and grow began as a child teaching horse riding. Fast forward to 2008, she found herself attending her first NLP course. She was there because she had been to a Tony Robbins event and thought that perhaps NLP could help her become a better Business Leader, a better Executive Coach, and a better Senior HR Professional. Little did she realise, until she was seated on her NLP Practitioner course as a delegate, that what she really needed was personal development for herself before she could go about helping others.
Laura created her first business in 2014, Unleash Your Potential Ltd, to provide high-quality accredited NLP Training. Together with her team, they have helped approximately 1,000 people since then to certify as NLP Practitioners, NLP Coaches (including Time Line Therapy® Practitioners and Hypnosis Practitioners), Master Practitioners of NLP, Time Line Therapy®, Hypnosis, and Certified Master NLP Coaches. Her goal was never just to take money and hand out certificates; she believed there was no point in that. She has always pushed herself to be the best Trainer she could be so that her students, in turn, could benefit from these high standards and become the best NLP Professionals they can be. Together, they aim to positively impact at least 50,000 lives during her time on the planet.
If one were to ask her previous students what makes her training different from other Training Providers, it is not that they are multi-award winning (they have been the UK’s Leading Provider of NLP Training since 2022 and continue to be so), nor that she is the only triple accredited Master NLP Trainer with ABNLP, IFNLP, and ANLP. It is the human connection and care they take. As one student put it, "You are never a number" at Unleash Your Potential; "you arrive as a customer and leave as a friend." She is very proud of the supportive community collectively created at Unleash Your Potential, with previous graduates often volunteering their time to come back and support the next cohorts on their journey. Since 2018, there have been over 54,000 downloads of her free NLP Podcast – NLP Talks with Laura Evans (available on all the major podcast platforms).
In 2020, she set up her second company, Laura Evans Coaching and Mentoring Ltd, to offer support to Coaches, NLP Professionals, and other service-based businesses across the UK to start and help scale their passion-led businesses. She remembers how daunting it can be to become an entrepreneur, and through their "Inside Track" programme, Business Club, and other specialist marketing, advertising, and business development OnDemand Courses, along with one-to-one business mentoring, she helps make a difference by assisting others in bringing their gifts and skills to wider audiences.
In 2024, she was proud to add ANLP accreditation to their NLP Practitioner course, making it dual accredited. The ANLP’s focus on standards, ethics, integrity, professionalism, and good practice was something she wanted to be part of.
In 2025, Laura was proud to be awarded the status of Master Trainer of NLP, which means she is now able to support those who want to embark on their own journey to becoming a Trainer of NLP themselves. It will be her honour and privilege to support them on this development journey in 2026 and 2027.
