Richard Bolstad is a Trainer of NLP and Traditional Chinese Exercise, an author of over 20 books, a psychotherapist, nurse, archaeologist, and herbalist.
Richard teaches transformational techniques for individual and community healing, especially in the aftermath of war, earthquakes and other crises, in many different cultural settings. In 2017, he received the ANLP award for NLP Internationally. The ANLP judges commented “Richard’s nomination stood out to us as we could really see the difference he has made being an international NLP trainer in many parts of the world.” His friend and mentor Steve Andreas described him as “One of the most thorough and competent therapists & trainers in NLP. He is one of the very few who is constantly developing new distinctions in understanding and practice, as well as congruently living what he teaches. The book RESOLVE: A New Model of Therapy is an excellent introduction to his work.”
Richard lives and teaches from homes with his wife Julia Kurusheva in Aotearoa / New Zealand, and in Cyprus. He is a parent and grandparent. He teaches with a vision of a world that is cooperative, non-hierarchical, rational and spiritually inspired. His current meta-project in archaeology, novel writing, research and NLP training is to bring the wisdom of ancient goddess-centred spirituality into the modern world.
