After a long career break, in January 2020 I started work as a learning support assistant (LSA) at Widford Lodge School, an independent primary school in Chelmsford. After getting to grips with being an LSA, I decided I wanted to broaden my role and follow my passion to support children’s mental health. I have suffered with anxiety and post-natal depression and when receiving support I recognised I had also been depressed at university but hadn’t understood what was happening at the time.
