Many people come to NLP when they’re tired of feeling a certain way, ending up in the same place, or knowing they want more but feeling unsure where to start. You may have already tried to make changes, only to feel frustrated when you struggle to maintain momentum or find yourself falling back into familiar habits, thoughts or emotional patterns, even when you know what you “should” be doing.

NLP can be particularly helpful when you want to change not only what you do, but how you think, feel and respond. It can help you understand and shift the patterns running beneath the surface, so you can begin responding in a different way.

You don’t need to feel confident, certain, or have everything figured out. But if you’re ready for things to feel different, that’s enough to begin.

I’m Joanne, and I’m a Master NLP Practitioner, specialising in helping people break free from patterns that don’t respond to willpower or conscious effort alone. Using NLP, we can work directly with the patterns of thought, language and behaviour that are driving your experience, allowing change to happen more quickly and effectively.

I’m also a Master Transformational Coach, so I can combine NLP with other powerful therapeutic approaches including hypnotherapy, EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping), NNRT (Negative Neuro-Pathway Reversal Therapy) and life coaching to support deeper, more lasting change.

How I can help

NLP can be used to support a wide range of issues, particularly where patterns feel difficult to change through thinking alone.

  • Stop smoking and reducing unwanted habits such as alcohol use

  • Depression, low mood and lack of motivation
  • Relationship issues, family dynamics and communication
  • Public speaking, performance anxiety and confidence in specific situations

What makes my approach different

As a Master NLP Practitioner, I use a range of NLP techniques to help you shift unhelpful patterns, reframe limiting beliefs and create new ways of thinking and responding. This may include techniques such as reframing, parts integration and pattern interruption, depending on what is most appropriate for you.

By combining this with additional approaches such as life coaching, hypnotherapy, EFT and NNRT, we can also work with the thoughts, emotions and responses connected to those patterns. This allows us to not only understand what’s been happening, but also to change how it feels and how you respond moving forward.

How we work together

We can focus on NLP or blend in several approaches, depending on your preferences and what will be most effective for you. Sessions are always tailored to you, creating a personalised and effective therapeutic experience.

Depending on your needs, our sessions may include:

  • NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming) - changing patterns of thought, language and behaviour to create lasting change
  • Life Coaching - creating clarity, direction and practical steps forward
  • Hypnotherapy - working with the subconscious mind to create deeper change
  • EFT (Emotional Freedom Techniques/Tapping) - a gentle somatic (body-based) approach to reduce emotional intensity
  • NNRT (Negative Neuro-Pathway Reversal Therapy) - using bilateral eye movement (similar to EMDR) to help process and release stuck emotional patterns
  • Breathwork - calming the nervous system and supporting emotional balance

My approach is warm, supportive and non-judgemental… but also empowering. I will meet you where you are, and gently challenge you when needed to help you move forward. I tailor my approach to suit both your needs and your personality.

Whether you’re new to NLP or ready to go deeper, I will guide you at a pace that feels right for you.

Sessions

Sessions are available online, by phone or in person across Dorset (including Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch, Ferndown and Wimborne).

I offer flexible options for in person sessions including using a private therapy room, walk-and-talk, coaching in nature, and informal settings where appropriate.

I work with adults and young clients 16+ and offer a free, no-obligation discovery call so we can explore what you’re looking for help with and whether my approach feels like the right fit.

I typically recommend a series of sessions, as meaningful and lasting change often develops over time rather than in a single session.

While everyone is different, many clients find that working together over several sessions allows us to explore the root of a pattern and begin embedding new, more helpful responses. This approach allows us to build momentum and create more sustainable change, rather than relying on short-term results.

I offer a discounted rate per session with packages. Payment plans are also available to help make these more accessible.
