Aim of the Workshop

This workshop explores how NLP tools can help educators and those working with children move beyond reactive behaviour management towards calm, clear and emotionally regulated learning environments.

Participants will learn how adult state, language, and system design influence behaviour and emotional regulation in classrooms and learning settings. Drawing on experience from SEMH, SEND and alternative provision contexts, the session introduces practical NLP approaches that support inclusion, reduce escalation and help adults lead calmly under pressure.

The aim is to provide a simple, ethical and practical framework for understanding behaviour as information rather than identity, and to help participants respond in ways that support both learning and wellbeing.

• Teachers and school leaders
• SEND and SEMH professionals
• Alternative provision staff
