In 1992, at the age of 17 I read Trance-formations by Grinder and Bandler and was blown away and was part of the reason I headed into a Psychology science degree in 1994. The course focused on the neurological and physiological basis of psychology though also covered social psychology, developmental psychology and abnormal psychology. My favourite classes were brain damage & brain repair & psychopharmacology (I was at Uni). After my course I was invited by the faculty to help research animal models of Parkinsons disease and Schizophrenia, though after uni I was craving getting out into the big wide world.

After nearly 20 years working in a mix of blue chip companies (Disney, Virgin), agencies (TMW & Baked) and starting companies with friends (Clickmango.com, Broadband Genie, Buyacar.co.uk) I felt it was time to get back to what I enjoyed the most - helping people be the best they can be.

I now offer a mix of coaching and training, working with clients as a business coach or a life coach and also training people in the NLP techniques that help them to move towards their goals. I've worked with clients on relationship issues, anxiety & stress, enhancing communication, business strategy refinement, personal confidence, and detachment issues. I also help fellow NLP'ers with their training and run webinars and assist on other's webinars and retreats. 

I run a small community of NLP trainers on Owlo (owlo.im) that practice NLP together, coach each other and act as accountability partners for each other. I've also recently launched an NLP fashion brand called Desired State. More on that soon!
