In The Sourcebook of Magic you will discover afresh the basic 77 NLP patterns for transformational magic. This newly revised version streamlines the patterns so that they are even more succinct and offers some new insights into how the patterns work.

Very useful NLP change pattern resource

I found this book to be an extremely useful resource and reference book. It contains a very good detailed history of NLP, although it excludes Frank Pucelik, and provides the original NLP Presuppositions.

The main purpose of this book is to provide a detailed description of the concept and process of 77 NLP Patterns for change work.
If you are working with clients or students and want to remind yourself how a specific NLP pattern is used or what the idea behind it is; then this book is invaluable.

I specifically enjoyed the concepts of each pattern because it is here, in the concepts that you get a good handle of exactly what the pattern does. I found the pattern descriptions to be quite prescriptive and they are laid out in easy to follow steps which help to prevent confusion.

I would highly recommend this book to anyone that is working with clients for change work using NLP. I would suggest that it is a must-have for Master Practitioners and Trainers.

I would not recommend this book to anyone starting to learn NLP; this is not a "My first NLP" type book because it is not written as a tutorial and instead more like a reference manual which you can use to refresh your knowledge of a specific pattern.

By studying this book, you can enhance your toolkit further and increase the options of patterns that you can use in any situation.
Personally, I believe that having several patterns is a good idea because some clients will understand one pattern better than another one.

As a trainer, I have included some of these patterns into my courses because they are useful, easy to follow and make good exercises.
