Acuity - Volume 7 Acuity is designed to sit between Rapport magazine and the Current Research in NLP journal. Volume 7 was published in April 2018 Back to Acuity Share Tweet LinkedIn Pin Acuity is designed to sit between Rapport magazine and the Current Research in NLP journal. The aim of Acuity is to provide an opportunity for authors and innovators to advance the field of NLP in sharing their findings, learnings and developments: new models, techniques, applications, refinements and new perspectives to old themes. Two things strike me as I take a big picture perspective of this edition of Acuity. The first is the number of doctors writing articles within these pages. As an MSc (at the moment anyway… who knows what the future might hold!), I wouldn’t prescribe that one can only write for Acuity if one holds a doctorate. However, I find it rather reassuring to know how many educated folks there are in the NLP community who are prepared to share ideas! The second observation is a simple one: the majority of the articles in the Seventh edition of Acuity are based around framing and reframing… with a skew towards the Sleight of Mouth patterns. Beyond that, we have frames around ‘meaning’ and ‘meanings’, frames around ‘goal setting’ and frames around ‘difference’. For the time being, Acuity is taking a sabbatical – maybe it has run its course but who knows what the future may hold. If anyone is interested in taking up the baton now or at some time in the future, please do email ANLP or phone +44 20 3051 6740.” Journal Contents Article Author Making Meaning, Living Meaningfully L.
