To Measure is to Know

You may have noticed that one of the tabs on your profile is called 'Social Accounts'.

This is where you enter links to your own website and social media accounts.

It is important to complete this section of your profile because this page links with your membership stats section of the website, where 'click thrus' are measured. A click thru is when a website visitor has followed a link from your profile to either your own website or one of your social channels - we measure this so you can see how many potential 'leads' have left our website to connect with you direct.

Any links added here also appear in your profile, directly under your photo, as recognised icons for FB, Linked In etc...so potential clients can click thru to your social accounts direct, making it easy for them to connect with you.

How to add your social links is covered in the How To Guide, 'How to Update my Profile' - it is a 90 second video which points you in the right direction for adding your links, where you will find further details on the URL format required for each social account.

When you add your links to this dedicated area within your profile, you can directly measure the impact your profile is having AND how many website users have followed one of your links.

If you put your website or social links within the body of your profile instead of in these dedicated link fields, the consequences are

  1. These links will not form part of your measurable stats
  2. The click thru icons will not appear under your profile image

This information holds both ANLP and you accountable for making the most of any interest that is generated from your profile.
