Hello and welcome to my profile, in which I shall attempt to give you a flavour of who I am and what I do in order to support you as you look for someone to work with on your desired issue at this time.
I am a Londoner born and bred, with Nigerian DNA and I have had a career as a learning and organisational development specialist with many years of experience in large multi-site organisations. Public sector organisations i have worked in and with include local government, education establishments and the NHS. My voluntary sector experience includes working for two nationwide children's charities.
My roles typically consisted of heading up the organisation's learning and development service; and within my work I developed much experience of managing staff and delivering the organisational response to training issues.
I have vast experience and love of coaching staff, managers and other individuals from all backgrounds and at all levels both within and outside the organisations. I am particularly happy to be coaching women who are working on finding their 'perfect' partner.
To support my clients and achieve their desired outcome I use a combination of NLP and EFT to achieve results.
In addition to my corporate and coaching work I love music and dancing and I am an experienced DJ, compère and sound engineer for seminars. I am also an event organiser.
I enjoy using my skills to assist anyone and everyone who feels a pull to work with me. I particularly enjoy helping people to get unstuck and make progress with projects or to move towards the life experiences they desire.
I also enjoy helping managers to understand their roles and identify their strengths, in addition to planning their skill development pathway.
My favourite thing is probably supporting people in finding and selecting their partner for a fulfilling and appropriate relationship.
Some of the topics and issues I have had success in helping with so far include:
- Easing stubborn pain;
- Overcoming inertia and procrastination and getting projects moving;
- Clarifying skills and supporting career development; and
- Supporting people on their journey to find an appropriate partner.
I have many years of experience working in the personal development field and have an understanding of a wide range of challenging situations. I would say that I can still sometimes experience surprise but I am no longer shocked by things I hear and situations that are disclosed to me.
Clients appreciate my sensitivity, affirmative attitude, encouragement, support and consistent good humour.
I have a lifetime of experience of working with people from diverse backgrounds and I have both professional and personal understanding of some of the cultural differences that can impact communication, expectations and success.
The main benefit clients get from working with me is that of being truly seen, heard and supported. I stand with my clients and support them as they look into their situation, uncover their desired outcome/s, construct a plan of action and take steps to achieve their goals.
Working with me, clients have reported that they feel a lightening of their loads and experience attitude shifts that lead to real world changes for them.
Clients can book sessions with me to explore any issues that they are experiencing or to create progress towards a specific goal or situation. After an initial clarification session clients are able to book as many sessions with me as they wish, addressing one main issues or situations with several intertwined threads.
I conduct my sessions primarily on Zoom, thus enabling clients to access me from any location without the inconvenience of having to spend money and time travelling to me. I am also happy to see clients in person if they wish to travel to me in London.
My sessions are usually on weekdays in the afternoon or evening, UK time.
After our initial session clients know whether they feel I can help them based on my understanding and empathy towards their situation and their level of comfort with my approach and the language I am using.
i know that not all client-coach relationships are compatible but on a personal level I have rarely encountered a situation where we were unable to make some progress. The more I work with individual clients the more I come to accept the belief that practitioners somehow attract the appropriate clients based on our skills, experience and specific gifts. For any client who has doubts about the compatibility of their practitioner my guidance to them would be that after the first session they should close their eyes, take a deep breath and review how they feel about themselves. If they feel hopeful or inspired or exhilarated or reassured or something similar, then they are probably with the correct person for the time being - bearing in mind that nothing is static or lasts for ever. They may also feel challenged or anxious but the important thing in terms of their compatibility with their practitioner is how they feel about themselves rather than their emotions in relation to the work they are beginning to undertake.
I aim to provide an inclusive service and I am very experienced in relation to working with people who have English as an additional language and require some extra support with their communication. If this is you please get in touch to explore what might be possible.
