Passionate about the arts, mental health and well-being, Lesley aims to make a difference.
Lesley has a background in finance, marketing and branding and an MSc in International Event management from Brighton University. For the past 20 years she has focused primarily on the contemporary arts sector and has a respected reputation for event delivery, writing, curation, professional development, mentoring and coaching in both the private and funded arenas and across all business sectors. She successfully completed her professional NLP training in 2019 and is a new member of ANLP.
She is the Founder and Managing Director of PURE Arts Group, which supports artists in their professional development and career progression through a system of PURE Arts Clubs, mentoring, coaching, exhibitions and events.
She helps creatives explore and uncover the possibilities and opportunities hidden within themselves, inspiring confidence, growth mindset and a positive outlook.
She advocates for women and young people, actively seeking out opportunities to challenge belief systems that limit their potential.
She helps business owners achieve a clarity of vision and design an achievable success pathway.
She works as part of a team of professional consultants and health practitioners delivering both commercial and funded projects.

Lesley has been mentoring me since January 2018. During this time I been transitioning from running a business selling my own industrially woven linens into becoming more of a full-time Artist. Lesley has supported me during this journey, although I am still learning to 'let go' of my online shop. Over the time it has taken me to recognise my built-in patterns and to re-learn approaches to me and my ongoing life Lesley has gently encouraged me with kindness and, at times, firmness! Despite my concerns and fears about moving onwards I now have a beautiful dedicated Artist website and all the tools and connections to market myself through social media. Looking back I can see how far we have travelled together and am excited about the future.
In trying to navigate my way through a difficult career as an artist, I always imagined the possibility of a guide, someone who could point me in the right direction. After many years, I was fortunate enough to meet Lesley Samms at just the right time and haven’t looked back since. Lesley has been an inspirational mentor and professional development consultant and has helped steer my ‘business’ onto a clearer path. From a position of hoping for something better, following Lesley’s advice, tools and strategies, I now believe that each step of progress will be made. I thoroughly endorse Lesley to anyone wishing to realise their potential.
