Covid-19 Update for Professional Members

We all find ourselves in unprecedented times and as a result, we are feeling our way into different and more creative ways to operate.

If you continue to offer in person sessions, please be vigilant and follow all government guidelines

Additional Guidelines for offering Coaching & NLP online:

  • Ecology check – always consider what is best for both you and your clients
  • Be just as present for your clients, even though there is a screen between you
  • Think about techniques you usually employ, that may not be appropriate to deliver via an online environment e.g. Timeline
  • Consider how else you can support your clients remotely, so they still stay connected with you
    • additional email support
    • Whats App/Texting support
    • Phone them

Please do also check with your insurance company to ensure you are covered for online training and coaching.

Other Tips for building resilience into your business:

  • Use any downtime to catch up with your CPD and reading
  • Do all those things for your business that you keep meaning to do but never have time for:
    • Catch up with your accounts
    • Update your website
    • Create some organisational structures for managing your clients
    • Create some products and resources you can sell online (and via the ANLP store)
    • Raise your profile and presence by creating articles, blogs, podcasts to share with your contacts
    • Raise your local profile by reaching out to your local community to offer tips and suggestions for staying mentally and emotionally safe during these challenging times
  • If you are experiencing any financial challenges, talk to the people who may be able to assist because many large organisations are willing to be flexible, as long as you communicate with them. For example
    • your mortgage company re a payment holiday
    • your landlord re a short term reduction or deferrment
    • HMRC, who may agree payment plans for tax bills
