Having spent several years as a publications designer for various large firms I set up Square Eye Design 15 years ago to provide my services to a wider audience. I received my degree in Graphic Design at the London College of Printing in the early 90s when desktop publishing and computer graphics were still in their early days. All those years of learning to hand draw type went out of the window but not the innate passion for design I had developed. I soon discovered that working in-house for companies had some creative limitations but it gave me a great perspective on how design can be beneficial to organisations. Being creative for the sake of it wasn’t what I was interested in, but bringing creativity to business communications was a challenge I lapped up.

Once Square Eye Design was set up, I intended to provide services such as graphic design and branding in a very personal way  that people who were in the business community could understand and appreciate. I always try to find a fresh way to answer any brief and do this by getting as much feedback from the client as possible. This has led to many long-standing collaborations with organisations. I have worked continuously with Omron Healthcare for 13 years, ANLP for over 10 years, April Strategy for 9 years and Castell Safety for 7. There have been numerous other clients and I have worked with many people as they move from business to business.

The main areas I assist business in is logo design, branding, brochures, magazines, direct marketing, stationary, posters, manuals, books, exhibitions, presentations, illustrations and many more.

Having met Karen Falconer over 10 years ago I was given the job of designing Rapport magazine from issue 4. I haven’t looked back since and after more than 50 issues I still enjoy the challenge of bringing all the amazing articles and ideas together. As well as having had a major input into the ANLP brand during that time and recently branded the all new NLP Conference and NLP Awards.
