ANLP Roles

Jenny is the ANLP Regional Ambassador for Worcestershire and a member of the project team NLP for Health Project.

Jenny Powell holds certifications as a Master Coach and NLP Master Practitioner. Jenny coaches children, teenagers, and young adults as part of her therapy coaching business.

Jenny feels extremely honoured to have been chosen as the Worcestershire Regional Ambassador.

She is passionate in NLP and the useful ways it can support children and adolescents.  She has a comprehensive strategy for working with children that involves giving them useful skills and techniques that will improve their communication, self-esteem, emotional health, learning capacity, and personal development.

Jenny's current efforts are directed on assisting children in the Worcestershire, South Birmingham and Warwickshire regions.  Her objective is to work with schools so that, rather than being reactive, there is more of a proactive answer to assist children as well as parents. She is a member of a local clinic where she can be seen raising the flag for NLP.

Jenny says,

"Being asked to assume the role as Worcestershire's regional ambassador for ANLP is an absolute privilege.  After I began my adventure with NLP, I became excited about it because I was interested in understanding why we act in certain ways or respond in certain situations. It is an amazing tool to have and to be help others is rewarding.

The principles, professionalism, and objectives of ANLP and their members are in line with my responsibilities as a member representing ANLP in Worcestershire and internationally.  Making ANLP the Global Flagbearer for Professional NLP is something I hope to accomplish in collaboration with other NLPers in Worcestershire and other Regional Ambassadors.

In 2020 I decided to start my training in NLP and my passion for the subject grew and I expanded my certification to Master Practitioner and Master Coach, from here I developed my business working with children.

From personal experience with my own children I knew there was a lack of support for parents and children, there are lengthy waiting lists with organisations such as CAMHs and the NHS, through no fault of their own just related to limiting number of cases they can work with at any one time.  I wanted to plug that gap and to make a difference not only in the child’s life but also their parents and family.

I wanted to become an ambassador so that I could work with ANLP to expand the network they have built and to educate the public about NLP and its potential.  The work done by ANLP is essential in preserving the credibility of both NLP professionals and the general public.  Since NLP is not currently regulated, it will be difficult to establish it as a legitimate profession and get people to take it seriously. Through project teams like NLP for Health, NLP for Education, etc., by funding research, publishing findings, and by establishing this international network for the professionals to participate in, ANLP assists with this, but also for the public to have a source of information, directory of professionals.

My business's goal is to provide young people the information and abilities they need to communicate successfully, feel good about themselves, have a healthy emotional life, do well in education and grow as individuals.  This will take place in line with the mission and vision of ANLP"
