Erickson wrote editorials for his university newspaper and did so while in a deep trance. He would set an alarm for the middle of the night and write an article while in a trance state. Upon finishing, he would place the finished article in an envelope, seal it and leave it ready for mailing in the morning. When he woke in the morning, he would look forward to the newspaper being published to discover what he had written....
