Coronavirus - Advice for Members

Members have been asking questions about their practices in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak and escalation in the UK.

First and foremost, we do recommend you follow all advice given by your local authorities, national government and Public Health England or your regional equivalent. Keep an eye out for daily updates as the situation continues to unfold globally.

In addition to this, we advise that you:

  • check your own insurance cover
  • carry out risk assessments to evaluate the level of risk to both you and your clients
  • have a business continuity plan in place to ensure you know what to do if your business is adversely effected.
  • use your common sense.

This is what we are doing daily, especially regarding the NLP Conference and NLP Awards.

We are, as a nation, having to find the resources within us to negotiate a very challenging situation. We understand that there is a fine line between what is right for our health and well being and the financial impact of shutting down for any length of time.

As we await daily updates from the government and NHS, it is up to each of us to take the steps required to look after ourselves, our family and our neighbours as best we can.
