£1 Million From Four Sessions AND Promotion Up the Batting Order

The challenge

Matthew was a partner in a medium size firm of Chartered Accountants. He wanted to improve his performance at work, and rise in the pecking order in the accountancy partnership. He had not had coaching before.

The effect

The challenge was simply down to Matthew’s ambition and desire to achieve. He already had a great life, was very successful. He simply wanted to build on it.

Solution

I used a standard business coaching approach, asking Matthew what he wanted (to get him really clear about it), and then to explore his options to achieve it and agreeing on action points each session. He had no limiting beliefs, he was just a busy man with numerous calls on his time. By helping him to be clear about his goals and values, he was able to clearly prioritise.

Result

Matthew was someone I knew from a business networking group. Each person has the opportunity every few weeks to do a 10 minute presentation rather than the usual 1 minute. When it was my turn, I asked Matthew and some other people I had coached to do testimonials for me. Matthew stood up and said ‘I had 4 coaching sessions from Jeremy, and I made £1 million. Plus I’ve risen to number 3 in the ‘batting order’ at the firm.’
