Christine Beenhakker

NLP changed my life in many ways. It helped me become a professional coach and counsellor, and even though I studied applied psychology after completing my Master Practitioner, NLP still gives me the tools I use most in my counselling practice. I was trained in the Netherlands at the Institute of Eclectic Psychology (IEP) in Nijmegen, by Anneke Durlinger, Lucas Derks, Anneke Meyer and Jaap Hollander. The Social Panorama Consultant training of Lucas Derks was the next step in my professional career, which brought me a lot more insights in the unconscious landscape of relationships in mental space. Mental Space Pychology is a whole new paradigm in social science: space as the primary organizing principle in the mind. 

I am a Bachelor of Applied Psychology, NLP Master Practitioner, Social Panorama Consultant  and Mindfulness teacher MBCT. I have my own practice, Reflecta, for counselling, psychotherapy and Mindfulness in Mierlo, the Netherlands. As a therapist I work with clients suffering from burn-out, stress, anxiety, depression, trauma and  health issues like cancer, and issues with overweight (obesitas and binge eating).  I also treat people with autism and high sensitivity, and help couples with relationship problems.

My mission statement is: be the change you want to see in the world.

Depression in Awareness Space (MSP-D) is a new experimental method to reduce the distress of clients suffering from a moderate depression. Together with Lucas Derks I set up the Research Project "Depression in Awareness Space", and presented the first results at the ANLP Conference in 2019. The final results are now being scored and interpreted, and we expect to publish them by mid 2020.
