Karen is CEO of ANLP, Editor of Rapport Magazine and author of The NLP Professional.

Karen is CEO of both ANLP International CIC and the NLP International Conference Ltd, Editor of Rapport Magazine and author of The NLP Professional. She is qualified to NLP Trainer level and is a Professional Certified mBIT coach. Karen is also a founder member of the International NLP Research Committee, a Trustee of the NLP in Education Trust, a member of the NLP Press Editorial Board, a school Governor and winner of Hertfordshire Woman of the Year 2009.

Before taking up the reins at ANLP in 2005, she also accumulated over twenty years experience as a management accountant and ran her own business providing accounts services and training for SMEs.

Through living by the Presuppositions of NLP, Karen has made ANLP relevant, successful and created a clear vision. As the head of ANLP, she meets with Trainers and Practitioners regularly, not only to learn from the best but to also to ensure ANLP continues to seek the opinions of the Members and work with them to develop and create unity in the NLP Community.

The secrets to her success are her optimistic approach to life, her passion for NLP and her calm business attitude. Karen clearly understands the practical application of NLP and she is passionate about promoting NLP in all of its forms to the wider public. She says,

Being CEO of ANLP is all about being there to serve others and provide support for the NLP Community – I see my role as a supporter of the community. NLP is a flexible, exciting and successful approach to so many challenges faced by people living in today’s fast paced world and our mission is to support our members and ensure NLP can be professionally delivered to those who will benefit from it the most.

Outside of her work with ANLP, Karen is mum to two wonderful boys, has one adorable grandson and lives in Hertfordshire with her husband, younger son, their dog and 2 cats!

Karen is a great leader in her chosen field. She treads a precarious path and manages to act as host, negotiator, facilitator, arbiter, champion, ethical standard bearer amongst many other roles. She is committed to developing a process for the management of a diverse psychological approach while continuing to uphold her own standards for ANLP, which is to remain the Switzerland of the NLP Community, often in the face of considerable opposition, threats and challenges.
