It was 2007. I was travelling into King’s Cross Station in London to a meeting facilitated by ANLP: two people I had never met and one I knew well. Karen Moxom, CEO of ANLP rang me while I was still on the train, having to pull out of the meeting due to a sick child, leaving me to meet up with two men I had never met, nor seen photos of (Charles Faulkner and Paul Tosey). I smiled to myself as I wondered how I would find them in such a busy station, when I didn’t know what either of them looked like! I met Paul first, by looking for men standing outside a coffee shop appearing to look for someone. Luckily I did not approach any strangers, or end up in difficult conversations and what a blessing that connection has been.
