Robbie Steinhouse

Robbie Steinhouse

NLPU certified Master Trainer: Central London

Robbie Steinhouse is one of the few NLP University Master Trainers in the world, certified by Robert Dilts and Judith DeLozier. He is a Master Trainer of NLP, an Associate Certified Coach (ACC)® with the ICF (International Coaching Federation) and the founder, director and head trainer of NLP School Ltd, based in central London.

Robbie’s background
Robbie’s focus on coaching, NLP and the human dimension of business stems from his career creating and running businesses in recruitment, property and insurance.

As these businesses grew, he found an ever-increasing need for more than just commercial skills, both for himself and his team: business is ultimately about developing people. He also found a wide range of help and models on offer and the material that he found (by far) the most useful was NLP, especially when linked to a coaching approach. His passion for the human dimension of business led him to give up his executive role and focus entirely on coaching and training in 2002.

Robbie has successfully established NLP School as one of the UK’s leading NLP providers.

A dynamic motivator, Robbie’s teaching style combines real-world commercial acumen with a humorous style and tools from NLP, transactional analysis and coaching.

His current projects include delivering NLP training at locations all over the world, including Indonesia, Georgia, Finland, China and the USA.

You can catch him in central London of course, as the trainer for NLP School’s certified NLP, Coaching and Mindfulness courses and NLP Practitioner courses.

Resources and books
Robbie is the author of many books including
'How to Coach with NLP', ‘Think Like an Entrepreneur – Your Psychological Toolkit for Success’, ‘Brilliant Decision Making’ published by Pearson and most recently, ‘Mindful Business Leadership’. published by Routledge.

‘How to Coach with NLP’, featuring a preface by none other than Robert Dilts, is the perfect handbook to start your coaching journey. It is based on the premise that NLP and coaching share a fundamental purpose: to help people live happier and more fulfilling lives.

In ‘Think Like an Entrepreneur – Your Psychological Toolkit for Success’, Robbie combines his commercial acumen with his expertise in the psychology of entrepreneurship to create a simple, workable guide on how to truly think like an entrepreneur.

‘Brilliant Decision Making’ covers the NLP principles and models underlying decision making and offers an easy to use pathway to making better decisions.

His latest book is ‘Mindful Business Leadership’, which presents a new model of leadership via Robbie’s Leadership Matrix, a developmental tool formulated over years of experience in both the business and coaching world – this leadership matrix is the only one of its kind.

NLP School
We have a reputation for NLP training that is highly effective, and delivered with warmth and wit. We run certified NLP Practitioner courses and Coaching courses which, as well as NLP, encompass some of the most important and relevant skills and tools in personal development, including Transactional Analysis, mindfulness and much more. We also have the pleasure of exclusively hosting Robert Dilts and Stephen Gilligan’s Generative Coaching Certification.
We provide no nonsense, no-guru, down to Earth training that is truly transformational: we won't hypnotize you, bombard you with jargon or smother you in hugs. We know our subject backwards, forwards and inside-out, and we will teach you techniques to change your life and benefit the lives of others in a way that you will enjoy.

Why Pick NLP School? Robbie explains:
1. We’re kind, down-to-earth and equal.
I am suspicious of anyone claiming to have ‘special powers’ and I profoundly dislike it when a teacher favours certain students. I wanted to create a comfortable and non-hierarchical learning environment, where people could take charge of their own continuing education and spread greater happiness and success throughout their lives.

2. We honour wider psychological approaches.
NLP started over 40 years ago, based on a fascination about the transformative power of effective psychology. I wanted to continue that tradition but include the actual theories that NLP was based upon, as well as more modern coaching and mindfulness-based approaches.

3. Enjoyable and professional.
I firmly believe that people are much more likely to learn effectively if they find the process enjoyable; I do not mean this in a shallow way – effective communication can be both engaging and profound. Our courses are accredited and qualify for both UK CPD and ICF CCE points.

NLP School and Robbie Steinhouse

NLP School provides with excellence a great place to learn and practice NLP in. In a respectul, highly competent, friendly and supportive environment, Robbie Steinhouse guides the participants with amazing skill and intuition, humour, empathy and professionalism towards getting the knowledge and activating the responsibility and choice of practicing and using it well.
He uses meditation and Transactional Analysis to enrich and blend with the NLP tools and his balanced attitude and way of communicating speak of a mature and easy to understand yet profound invitation towards learning and self development.

Excellent Coach!

I am in the fortunate position to have been taught NLP by, coached and counselled by, and now work with Robbie Steinhouse supporting him deliver his Flagship NLP certification training and believe I am in a position of strength to comment on his style and technique.
I first met Robbie in 2007 when I signed up for his (then) 5 module NLP Practitioner training and experienced his unique style of delivery, with a mixture of humour, stories and excellent training and demonstrations. His teaching process was simple, describe the technique, demonstrate the technique and then we would practice the technique under supervision.
I have been able to witness on numerous occasions Robbie interacting and coaching a delegate during a demonstration of what ever complex a process and guiding them through to the end with some genuine life changing and life affirming results. And it is no surprise that Robbie has been able to develop his own NLP process's as well as being a fellow of the home of NLP at the NLPU in the United States.
I was able to use the processes he taught me in my corporate life as well as with family and friends and when I set my business up I was able to use the techniques described in his book , " How to Coach with NLP" with great success. Robbie is always available to support me on my journey and has given me guidance on complex situations I have come across.

Excellent NLP Training

I completed my NLP Practitioner training with Robbie Steinhouse at his NLP School. I particularly wanted a course I could attend in-person. This has the benefit of being a hybrid course, you can attend in-person or online, or even mix and match! That adaptability continues throughout the course, they are there to help you learn and are flexible to people's needs, all learning styles are included with lots of interaction and group exercises. The whole course is broken down down into 3 modules, 3-4 full days long each, spanning a 3 month period, which allows you time to digest each section. You can feel his enthusiasm for NLP and get to benefit from his fun, quirky sense of humour too. He also has a teaching style that explains things in an easy to understand way. I thoroughly enjoyed the course and would definitely recommend it for both self-discovery and/or to use in coaching. I even made good friends, who I have remained in contact with.

A review by Victoria Edelman

I learnt a lot about how best to communicate with others – but also how to communicate with myself, too, in terms recognising my limiting beliefs and the language I use when thinking about my future. Very much appreciate this – thank you.

I have not yet reviewed any books.
