We should have seen it coming. COVID-19. We listened to the news, watched the media and observed the impact upon lands and peoples far away and we should have seen it encroaching upon the horizon and yet we were caught on the hop. That which was taking place at a distance we observed via the media outlets and on social media and for a while our life carried on as usual.
