A practical and hugely informative guide to self-hypnosis

Read this if you want to start making changes to your life today. From the moment I started reading, I found the writing easy to read, concise and well structured. I could read and assimilate information quite quickly (this is always great for my motivation levels). In Part 1 you explore the theory gaining a broad understanding of the development, the concepts and the applications of Hypnosis and NLP. This section alone makes a great handbook. Part 2 delivers what it promises. The application into real life. Packed with scripts and ideas to get you started, interspersed with some golden nuggets along the way, and always giving you choice to tailor the experience to yourself. As an NLP Trainer and coach, I found this book to be hugely informative, and surprisingly comprehensive. To accompany you on your journey there is a CD with a guide on how to make best use of the CD content followed by a guided session, for you the listener, to acquire the necessary familiarity of the hypnotic processes you learn in the book. This is highly recommended to get the best out of Section 2, however, if that is not for you it is not essential to get great value from this book. The author Dr. Judith E. Pearson, takes you on a deep and generative learning journey, her work is easy to read and understand and yet underpinned by a huge amount of research. It was written with the reader in mind however I cant help but get a sense of academic rigor that lies beneath every sentence. Read this book and you'll know how to change your life, one bad habit at a time.
