Help Your Clients Find You - Clients Seek Specialists

If your sash windows or bi-fold doors break, what would you key in on the internet to search?  Do you type in ‘carpenter’ or ‘builder’? Or do you type in sash window repairs or bi-fold door specialists?

You will be very keen to know if they specialise in the service you are interested in...

When you have a particular challenge, you will have to hone in on your internet search and get specific with your search terms, in order to find the right person who can resolve the situation.

The same is true to NLP - When looking for a solution from our field, it is unlikely that someone will key “I want help” into their browser!

It is more likely they will type in “I want help with… [giving up anxiety/leadership skills/smoking/losing weight/fear of heights]”

They may not even know that NLP could be the solution to their challenge…

Remember, you are unique in the experiences you have. The way you adapt and apply your NLP skills to support others dealing with particular challenges…these are your specialities.  It might be that you can help transform someone who wants to speak more confidently in public, or you can motivate a team, or support parents, or empower career development… 

You can help potential clients to seek you out by having a concise profile with clear direction on sought after specialities that you can deliver.

Your website profile enables you to do this quickly and easily and when you have updated your profile to reflect your specialist skills, potential clients will more easily be able to hone in on you, when they do a search.

...and do resist the urge to select every specialism on offer because, as Bev James, author of ‘Do it or Ditch It” once said,

“Generalists seek clients, clients seek specialists”

We are widening our reach to increase the potential number of people who can see what you’re offering.  Make sure you have honed in your skills sufficiently, so they can make an informed choice.
