Health and Wellbeing

One of the Presuppositions underpinning NLP is that the mind and body affect each other. You may notice that when you exercise, the energy that you produce is both mental and physical. Similarly, when you feel you have peace of mind you may feel your body relax.

NLP creates an awareness of how the body and mind are linked and this can be applied to health issues in a number of ways.

NLP can be used as an alternative form of pain management so that people with physical illnesses may be able to overcome some of the physical symptoms of their condition using NLP. It also enables patients and relatives of people living with illness to create powerful coping strategies, which may in turn change their experience of the situation into a more positive one.
